Hi Kelly,

Is it the blog you want to follow or just that one post? If it's the blog there is a place you can subscribe somewhere. If it's the post itself I don't think you can, but I don't get a lot of comments posted so it's not like there would be updates frequently at all.

I wish like heck I could be of more help to you but I am not that computer literate and all I can do is apologize profusely.

If you need anything else please let me know and I'll try to find the answer for you.

Best regards,
DFTROU

DFTROU: Once again you had me on the floor laughing with your "colorful" commentary. God bless that big wonderful horse for taking such good care of his owner. I give this woman a lot of credit for not only riding and competing with her disability, but she taught a 19+ hand horse to spin and slide stop. WOW!!! I hope Snotty Bitch ate his dust as he came to a halt.

Wow!
I think I would have had to whip out my
DQ spray and hosed that snotty bitch down until she flipped onto her back and stuck her legs in the air. Vermin.

I can't imagine taking more than a week off without riding. Not because I am such a devoted rider, but my (also) middle aged body lets me know in no uncertain terms that I will pay for it ten times over in muscle aches. There is no other exercise that gets at the leg muscles used in riding, so if I don't use it I lose it. And fairly quickly! I can keep the core and the upper body in shape, but everything hips and below is a lost cause when looking for substitute riding exercise. A physioball helps, but it's not ideal. So even though I retired my 19-year-old OTTB last year, I still snag as many rides as I can on friends' and trainers' horses. All year long. Don't know what I'll do to keep in shape when I get too crochety to even ride. It's the only physical exercise I get a real thrill from.
